Its so cool that you're good friends with your photographer, it can sure have an effect on the outcome of the pictures. Our engagement pictures were taken by a guy I told off once (he was making a big deal about me leaving the apt since that meant he had to leave too--3 person rule), it was a little awkward at first! But thankfully he had gotten over it.
